The spice that started it all. Since 1992 Barbara “Sky” Burrell, owner and founder of Sky’s Gourmet Tacos in Los Angeles has been making her famous tacos with this spice as the foundation of her style and signature flavor.
Food is well prepared and delicious! I think I have a new favorite place! Food is seasoned well, the customer service is nice, I would like to explore the menu more. Today I got the shrimp tacos. Very good!
Holy Tacos!! Where have you been all my life! That's the blessing I call the Cajun style tacos (crawfish one in particular) that my boyfriend and I shared. We love Cajun style anything so I immediately slapped the favorites button on yelp, and will be coming back for another tasting!
I dig this place! The menu has changed over the years but the quality has not! Everything tastes fresh and is prepared in a unique way making this place stand out. Indoor and Outdoor seating and I've never had a problem with having to wait. As far as neighborhood joints go, I definitely recommend this place for a tasty affordable lunch or dinner!
You can always count on them for good food and really friendly service 🙂 I'm vegan and they've got a lot of options for my diet.
I loved the taco bowl! It was delicious and we had excellent service! Parking is a little hard to find but we found some on the street close to the restaurant.
Best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Been eating here for years and I love the seasoning on the shells! Breakfast burrito with shrimp is also really nice!!!
Cute gem in the middle of Pico Blvd with delicious Mexican home cooking - the food is delicious and the service is even better! They have seating outside and then a terrace as well as seating inside. So many different nooks and areas. It's truly charming and they have a ton of vegan options- I had the breakfast burrito which was delicious - perfectly filling yet light. I would def go back to try more items!
Their salmon and shrimp tacos are great. I only ordered food for delivery from here so I don't know about the seating, atmosphere or service but the tacos sure are gourmet!
My daughter took me here tonight for my birthday and they did not disappoint. By far theeee best lemonade (addictive like crack) and chicken taco's I have ever had. The Location is so cool, we sat outside on a cool and beautiful summer nite, and I absolutely could not get enough of the salsa that accompanied the chips, the food is amazing and we will definitely refer friends and return!
